UN chief visits Iraq for first time in six years

UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres visited Iraq for the first time in six years, TRT Haber said, Report informs.
He met with Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein in Baghdad. In his statement to journalists after the meeting, he stressed that Iraqis will overcome all the political and security challenges.
Guterres is due to hold talks with President Abdel Latif Rashid and Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani.
