Ukraine must gain access to the international arms market to ensure its Armed Forces are fully equipped with certain types of weapons, Ukrainian Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal said during a presentation in Kyiv outlining the government’s new strategic priorities, Report informs.
“Our long-awaited legislative proposal will provide Ukrainian arms manufacturers with structural support and competitive advantages,” he said. “Opening the international arms market is essential for Ukraine.”
