Ukraine's allies commit to long-term support at Ramstein meeting

At the 25th meeting of the Ukraine Defense Contact Group held at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, participants have approved roadmaps across eight areas of military cooperation with Kyiv, extending their support until 2027.

Report informs via TASS that the meeting, attended by representatives from 15 countries, aimed to bolster Ukraine's defense capabilities and ensure its long-term security.

US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, who opened the session, stated, "Earlier today, a meeting of coalition group leaders took place with representatives from 15 countries. They approved the 'capability coalitions' roadmaps until 2027. Through these 'capability coalitions,' partner countries can continue to meet Ukraine's urgent needs on the battlefield."

According to a joint statement released by the Pentagon, Kyiv's allies intend to identify ways to achieve the set targets in meeting Ukraine's military requirements and ensure their fulfillment in both the short and long term. This will be accomplished through state donations, purchases, investments, and efforts to expand the capabilities of the defense industrial base.
