Ukraine already liberated 40 settlements in Kharkiv region

The Ukrainian military has already liberated about 40 settlements in the Kharkiv region, Oleh Synyehubov, Kharkiv governor, said in an interview with Dumka, Report informs.

"We have liberated a significant part of the territories of the Chuhuiv district, Kupyansk and Balakliia districts. Our units entered Kupyansk, the settlements of the Izyum district are being liberated. Today we can talk about 40, but in fact there are much more," he said, adding that the exact number of de-occupied villages cannot be named, given the ongoing interests of the military operation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

He added that in general, in the north, northeast direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine hold their positions.

"The enemy is constantly trying to attack them, trying to break through, attacking with all types of weapons. These are missile strikes, and multiple launch rocket systems, and cannon artillery, these are air strikes on our positions," he said.
