Britain on Thursday added to its Russian sanctions list 26 more individuals and entities, including the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Igor Konashenkov, and the head of Russian Railways, Oleg Belozerov.
Report informs citing Interfax that Acting Minister of Emergency Situations Aleksandr Chupriyan and First Deputy Chief of the General Staff Nikolay Bogdanovsky were also sanctioned. Anzhelika, wife of businessman Herman Khan, is on the sanction list.
A total of 10 legal entities were also sanctioned. In particular, the PROMTEH-Dubna production enterprise, as well as the Kalashnikov concern were also sanctioned.
An asset freeze applies to individuals and companies affected by the sanctions. At the moment, over 1,300 Russian individuals and legal entities are on the British sanctions list.
