UK reports ship attack off Yemen coast

The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO), a division of the British Navy, has reported an attack on a vessel near the Yemeni city of Nishtun. The incident, classified as an assault, occurred approximately 246 nautical miles (456 kilometers) southeast of the coastal town.
According to Report, in a statement released on the social media platform X, the UKMTO confirmed receiving a report of the incident and noted that authorities are currently investigating the matter. The agency has advised ships traversing the area to exercise caution and report any suspicious activity.
