UAE’s minister of state: It is important to protect security in South Caucasus

It is important to protect security in the South Caucasus, Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, the Minister of State of the UAE, said in his statement at the 9422nd Meeting of the UN Security Council on Karabakh, Report informs.

According to him, commitment to constructive dialogue is important: "The UAE welcomes the ceasefire reached in the region yesterday, mediated by Russia. This confirms that all stakeholders have decided to take the path of de-escalation. Today, a meeting was held with the Armenian residents of Karabakh in the city of Yevlakh in Azerbaijan, and we hope that this meeting will help settle disputes in the future."
