Türkiye updates its airport passenger traffic record

Türkiye has once again updated the record for passenger traffic in the country's airport, the Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu said, Report informs via Anadolu.
According to Uraloglu, in April 2024, a total of 17,973,101 passengers were served at Turkish airports, which is a record figure in the history of the country.
"Passenger traffic on domestic and international flights increased by 52.9% and 55.1% year-on-year, respectively. Overall, passenger traffic increased by 53.7%," the minister said, citing data from the Turkish Airports Authority (DHMİ).
