Türkiye may start new operations in Syria and Iraq, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told reporters on the plane while returning from Astana, Kazakhstan, Report informs.

The president noted that the development of events will determine this.

"It would be wrong to talk about it yet. But if necessary, we will do it. Today, the PKK is being attacked in northern Iraq as in the north of Syria."
