Türkiye, Iraq ink MoU on military and security collaboration

Türkiye and Iraq signed a Memorandum of Understanding on military and security cooperation and combating terrorism, Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said, Report informs.

Fidan made the announcement at a joint press conference with Iraqi Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein in Ankara.

"The memorandum of understanding between Türkiye and Iraq on military and security cooperation and combating terrorism was signed by the defense ministers of the two countries. This agreement is of historical importance. We believe that we will take our cooperation to the next level," Fidan stated.
