Turkish Interior Minister: Efforts underway following Istanbul earthquake

Türkiye's Interior Minister, Ali Yerlikaya, announced that coordinated efforts are ongoing in response to the earthquake in Istanbul, according to Report.
The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD) and other relevant agencies are actively working in the affected areas.
"A 6.2 magnitude earthquake struck the Marmara Sea region near Istanbul, and its tremors were felt in surrounding cities and towns. Teams from all relevant institutions have begun field investigations related to the earthquake. I wish a speedy recovery to all those affected. May God protect our country and nation from disasters," Yerlikaya said.
