Turkish FM meets with EU High Representative

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has met with the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, on the sidelines of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) meeting in Jakarta, Indonesia, Report informs.
“Glad to have had a first in-person meeting with new Turkish FM Hakan Fidan. We focused on EU-Türkiye relations, the situation and needed de-escalation in the Eastern Mediterranean and a number of regional and global issues. I look forward to working constructively together,” Josep Borrel wrote on Twitter.
