A dialogue between Turkey and the United States may begin to resolve the issue of F-35 fighters, Report informs, citing NTV.
The chairman of the Turkish Defense Industry Committee, Ismail Demir, said that Ankara had already received a letter from Washington on the F-35 issue.
Earlier, the United States excluded Turkey from the program of production of F-35 fighter jets. The reason was Ankara's purchase of Russian-made S-400 air defense systems.
"We have already said that no country can be unilaterally excluded from the F-35 program. The last letter from the US confirmed that we were right. The dialogue will begin with the US to resolve the F-35 problem," Demir noted.
