US President Donald Trump stated that his country spends far more on NATO than other states, yet Washington receives no benefit from it.
According to Report, Trump wrote on Truth Social that the United States spends significantly more money protecting others while gaining nothing in return.
He noted that US expenditures amount to $999 billion, compared to $90.5 billion by the United Kingdom, $66.5 billion by France, $48.8 billion by Italy, and $44.3 billion by Poland.
Trump added that the rest, including Germany, spend very little (2014–2025), calling the situation "simply ridiculous."
