Trump to visit Germany on Merkel's invitation

US President Donald Trump intends to visit Germany soon at the invitation of German Chancellor Angela Merkel, the US leader said on the sidelines of the Group of Seven (G7) summit, which takes place in Biarritz.
“We will visit there,” Trump said before the meeting with Merkel. Report informs citing TASS that he said it was a “great honor” for him. "We will visit there, possibly, soon," the American leader added.
When asked if he could visit Germany before his upcoming visit to Poland in the coming days, Trump replied: "It's too early." “But we will be in Germany very soon,” he added.
Later, the White House chief said his meeting with Merkel was productive. “Very productive meeting with Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, at the G7 Summit in Biarritz, France!"
