President Trump on Thursday denied reports that Iranian forces damaged US war planes during a raid on an air base in Jordan, according to The Hill.
"Nope," the president said when NewsNation's Robert Sherman asked whether there is "any truth" to the reports.
"None whatsoever. No damage. No nothing," Trump told Sherman over the phone.
CBS News, citing people with direct knowledge of the matter, reported Thursday that Iranian strikes damaged multiple American military aircraft overnight Tuesday into Wednesday.
The strikes occurred during an attack on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base in Jordan, which the Royal Jordanian Air Force operates.
