Leaders of 114 states, as well as more than 80 heads of government and foreign ministers, will rise to the podium of the General Assembly (GA) of the UN from September 24 to 30 during a high-level general political debate.
Report informs that US, Iran, Venezuela, France, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Libya, South Korea and Iraq are among the countries that will be represented by their leaders at the 74th session of the GA. On the eve of the debate on Tuesday, September 24, the UN General Secretary Antonio Guterres will address the General Assembly. Then the chairman of the opening 74th session, the former permanent representative of Nigeria to the UN, Tijjani Muhammad-Bande, will rise to the podium. Traditionally, the Brazil will address the first. Following the Brazilian leader, the leader of the host country, Donald Trump, will take the stand.
