Tokayev: Idea of ​​indivisible Eurasian security can form basis for sustainable world order

The international community needs détente, a new positive agenda to resume constructive dialogue, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said at the conference titled “Sustainable Development and Security in the Eurasian Space” in Astana on September 30, Report informs via Akorda.

The head of state noted that in the context of unprecedented geopolitical instability, the role of diplomacy becomes crucial.

“Against the backdrop of profound transformations in geopolitics and geo-economics, global climate and demographic challenges, threats of new pandemics, the intensification of the arms race, technological progress, including the introduction of artificial intelligence, issues of strategic stability and sustainable development are becoming of paramount importance to all of us. The conclusion is obvious - the international community needs détente, a new positive agenda to resume constructive dialogue. Therefore, the idea of comprehensive, indivisible Eurasian security can become a conceptual basis for building a multipolar, just, and sustainable world order,” Tokayev stated.
