'There will be no peace' in Ukraine in near future, UN chief says

"There will be no peace in the near future," UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said in an interview with The Guardian, Report informs via RBC Ukraine.
"The time will come when peace talks between Russia and Ukraine begin. This war will not last forever. The time will come for peace talks. But I do not think it will happen in the near future," he said.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke about the possibility of suspending talks with Russia in the future. He said the main reason was the killing of captive Mariupol defenders.
