Kremlin: Russian and Ukrainian presidents may meet

A meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and his counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky is not ruled out, Russian President's Spokesman Dmitry Peskov says, Report informs with reference to TASS.

"True, this is possible. However, the meeting must be oriented toward the result. To do this, both delegations and ministers should fulfill their obligations. Russia's position is well-known," he said.

Turkish Presidential Spokesman Ibrahim Kalin also spoke about [a possible] meeting between Putin and Zelensky.

"Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said that President Vladimir Putin can meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky without hesitation. Therefore, a meeting between the Russian and Ukrainian presidents is possible in the near future. This is a very good sign. There is every reason to believe that such a meeting is possible in the near future."
