Taliban detain journalists covering protests in Kabul

The Taliban, which seized power in Afghanistan, have detained three journalists covering protests in Kabul over a ban on the right to study female students at universities, Report informs citing TASS.
In addition to journalists, the Taliban also arrested five women protesting against the decision of the Taliban to suspend the education of female students in higher educational institutions in Afghanistan.
On December 20, the ruling Taliban movement in Afghanistan banned women from studying at universities, the order of the Ministry of Education came into force ‘indefinitely.’
At the same time, back in September last year, the Taliban allowed girls to enter higher educational institutions, only ordering them to study separately from men.
