Taiwan closes 2 airports amid Chinese military drills

Taiwan authorities have closed two civilian airports in the Matsu archipelago amid two days of Chinese military exercises, Report informs referring to foreign media.

The operation of airports on the islands of Nangan and Beigan was stopped until 14:00 local time.

Taiwan’s Central News Agency cited heavy fog as the reason for the suspension of airport operations.
