German Chancellor Olaf Scholz acted wisely by declaring that Berlin would not supply Taurus missiles to Kyiv, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjártó told RIA Novosti, commenting on Scholz’s reaction to the conversation with the Bundeswehr officer, Report informs.
“I think what the chancellor says is much more important than what some military men allegedly say. I think that Chancellor Scholz behaved very responsibly in this regard, making it clear that Germany will not supply any Taurus-type missiles to Ukraine. I think this is very reasonable behavior,” Szijjártó noted.
Previously, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has repeatedly spoken out against the supply of Taurus missiles to Ukraine.
