Sybiha: Russia attacked American electronics manufacturer in Ukraine

Russia undertook a massive combined air strike on Ukraine overnight, with one of the missiles striking a major American electronics manufacturer in the country's westernmost region, leading to serious damage and casualties, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha said on X, Report informs.

Sybiha said a fully civilian facility "has nothing to do with defense or the military."

"This is not the first Russian attack on American businesses in Ukraine, after strikes on Boeing offices in Kyiv earlier this year and other attacks. No military logic or necessity, just terror against people, businesses, and normal life in our country," the foreign minister stressed.

As can be seen from the photos and footage shared by the minister, and before him, the head of the Zakarpattia Oblast State and Military Administration, Miroslav Biletsky, the matter concerns the company “Flex Ukraine” (Mukachevo).

This company is owned by Flextronics, one of the world’s leading firms in electronics manufacturing and design.
