Sweden to supply IRIS-T and Hawk to Ukraine

Sweden will supply the IRIS-T and Hawk air defense systems to Ukraine, Swedish Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson said at a joint press conference with Defense Minister Paul Johnson.

Report informs via RBC-Ukraine that the Prime minister said his country will include not only air defense, but also Leopard tanks in the package.

"Ukraine needs air defense systems, it is absolutely important for Ukraine that Russia does not gain air supremacy. This is an opportunity that we have to provide in the long term," added Jonson.
