Sweden to give Ukraine 10 Leopard 2 tanks

The Swedish government will transfer 10 modernized Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine, Report informs referring to RBC-Ukraine.
The government in Stockholm wants to provide Ukraine with only ten Leopard tanks of the 2A6 and 2A5 type for the planned equipping of two Ukrainian tank battalions.
The tanks can be used primarily as an addition to the set of tanks that Germany is now assembling for Ukraine. Thus, Berlin promised to supply 14 2A6 models from the warehouses of the Bundeswehr for the battalion, which should be equipped with 31 Leopard 2 tanks.
