The record temperature for September in Sweden - 31.1 degrees Celsius - was registered in the city of Helsingborg, located in the south of the kingdom, Report informs via TASS.
According to SVT TV, this was the warmest September day in the entire history of Sweden.
The previous record was set in the southern province of Skåne on September 1, 1975, when the thermometer reached 29.1 degrees.
