Sweden allocates $490M to Ukraine for reconstruction

Sweden is allocating 6 billion crowns ($490 million) to rebuild Ukraine to prepare it for EU membership, Minister for International Cooperation Johan Forssell said when presenting a new bilateral strategy for 2023-2027, Report informs referring to TASS.
"This is the largest and most ambitious bilateral strategy that Sweden has ever presented. It aims to prepare Ukraine for EU membership in the long term by strengthening the country. Our goal is to build something new, something more free, environmentally friendly, safe," he noted.
