State Department allows some employees of US Embassy in Beirut to leave Lebanon

Washington recommended that American citizens not visit Lebanon and allowed some employees of the US Embassy in Beirut to leave the country, Report informs via TASS.
The US State Department noted that due to the “unpredictable security situation,” a decision was made to allow the voluntary temporary departure of family members of US employees and some employees of the American embassy in Beirut. It is emphasized that only those employees who are not performing emergency tasks are allowed to leave.
The State Department also recommended that US citizens refrain from visiting Lebanon due to mutual attacks between Israel and the Shiite Hezbollah movement.
