Spain to send Hawk anti-aircraft battery to Ukraine

The Spanish government has promised to send a new military aid package to Ukraine soon, which includes a Hawk anti-aircraft battery, Report informs citing the Spanish Defense Ministry.

Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles held talks with her Ukrainian counterpart, Rustem Umerov, discussing the progress of military cooperation between the two nations.

Robles emphasized the significant advancement in training Ukrainian soldiers, noting that the number of trained personnel has reached an impressive 5,000.

She made a pivotal commitment during the talks, promising to send a Hawk anti-aircraft battery along with all necessary shipments to Ukraine.
