Spain records increase in cases of new coronavirus strain

More than 120 cases of EG.5, a new variant of the coronavirus, have been reported in Spain, Report informs, citing foregn press.

The first case was recorded on June 8.

According to experts, the infection with the coronavirus in the country has increased sharply since the beginning of August.

Most people have mild symptoms.
