Spain proposes to close European ports for Russian ships due to the situation around Ukraine, Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Albares Bueno said on February 28 in an interview with Radio Nacional de Espana, Report informs referring to TASS.
Albares noted that the Spanish authorities have changed the recommendations for their citizens, who are now in Russia. Given the closure of the airspace of Spain and Europe for Russian aircraft, "everyone who wants to leave the Russian Federation is recommended to do so immediately." "It is recommended to postpone all non-essential trips to Russia," reads the website of the Spanish Foreign Ministry.
