Sergey Lavrov: If Biden's statement is true, peace will prevail in the world 

"If Biden's statement is true, there will be peace in the world," said Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Report informs, citing Russian media.

"If Biden's statement not to interfere in the affairs of other countries is true, then there will be peace in the world. Russia is working with its Central Asian counterparts to regulate the situation in Afghanistan," he said.

According to Lavrov, Russia welcomes the statements of Biden and Macron on the suspension of bringing democracy to other countries.
