Scholz, Macron to meet Zelenskyy in Chisinau

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and French President Emmanuel Macron will hold trilateral talks with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the European Political Community (EPC) summit in Chisinau, Report informs via TASS.

Sources in the German delegation said that for Scholz, this would be the third personal meeting with Zelenskyy in the last three weeks. In mid-May, the President of Ukraine visited Berlin, and a few days later they met at the G7 summit in Japan.

Scholz and Macron also intend to hold talks - separately - with Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić and the President of partially-recognized Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, and thereby try to contribute to the de-escalation of the situation in the Serbian-majority municipalities in Kosovo.
