Saudi Arabia approves memo on partnership with Shanghai Cooperation Organization

Saudi Arabia has approved a memorandum on granting the kingdom the status of a dialogue partner in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Report informs via foreign media that the SCO is a political and security union of countries. It includes India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Afghanistan, Belarus, Iran and Mongolia have the status of observer countries, while Azerbaijan, Armenia, Cambodia, Nepal, Türkiye and Sri Lanka have the status of partner countries.
