Russian FM: Important steps will be taken in next round of talks with Ukraine

The Russian Foreign Ministry has announced the purpose of the military operations in Ukraine and important steps to be taken in the next round of talks, Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said, Report informs, citing TASS.

She also expressed confidence that the talks would yield results: "We call on Ukraine to do everything possible to ensure the security of the civilian population. About 2 million people have appealed to Russia for evacuation."
