Almost 3,900 people with COVID-19 infection were hospitalized in Moscow per day, the operational headquarters for combating the spread of coronavirus told reporters, Report informs citing RIA Novosti.
"As of March 8, 2022, the number of hospitalizations in the Russian Federation per day amounted to 3,847 people," the message reads.
"During the day, 66,576 new cases of COVID-19 were detected, 649 people died," the report adds.
