Russia declares Estonian diplomat persona non-grata

Russia added an Estonian diplomat to the list of personae non-gratae, Report informs, citing TASS.

A strong protest was expressed to the head of the Estonian diplomatic mission in connection with the groundless announcement of a diplomatic officer of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Tallinn persona non grata on March 24, the ministry said.

"Based on the principle of reciprocity, it was stated that a diplomat of a similar level of the Estonian Embassy in Moscow would have to leave Russia, within the same deadlines as determined by the Estonian side for the departure of our colleague," the ministry said.
