Representatives of Japan, the United States, and three other countries left the meeting of trade ministers of the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) during the speech of Russian Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov, Report informs with reference to Kyodo News.
The two-day APEC ministerial meeting opened on Saturday in Bangkok. Reshetnikov took part in it via a video link.
The decision to leave the meeting, according to Kyodo, was made in protest against Russia's actions in Ukraine.
