Rebel drug lab with 1 ton of cocaine discovered in Colombia

Colombian military forces have discovered and destroyed a drug production laboratory belonging to the rebel group "National Liberation Army", according to the country's armed forces, Report informs via TASS.
"During a military operation in rural areas of Cucuta, a cocaine production complex used by the Reynaldo Ardilla Gomez unit of the organized armed group was discovered and destroyed," the statement said.
More than 1 ton of cocaine was found at the site. According to authorities' estimates, the destroyed laboratory could produce 4 tons of drugs per month.
"The value of the laboratory is estimated at 23 billion pesos [$5.4 million]," the military noted.
