Putin cancels Russian visa concessions for citizens of several European countries

Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed into law a statute that increases visa fees for citizens hailing from Denmark, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway, and Switzerland, Report informs via BNN.
The new regulation outlines a fee range from $50 to $300 depending on the urgency and multiplicity of the visa.
Coming at a time of strained relations between Russia and European countries, this move is seen as a significant escalation in the ongoing diplomatic conflict, BNN said.
