Ukrainians living in the United States held a protest action in front of the Russian Consulate General in New York, Report informs.
The city police stopped the traffic on the roads around the administrative building of the consulate.
The protestors held flags and slogans such as "Putin is a murderer", "Stop Putin's terrorism", "Putin, take your hands off Ukraine", "Stop the war", and "Freedom for Navalny".
Protesters demanded an end to the war in Ukraine, and that Russian President Vladimir Putin be brought before an international court.
Candles were lit in memory of 461 Ukrainian children killed in the war on.
Hundreds of New York police officers stepped up security measures to prevent protesters from approaching the entrance of the consulate building. The three-hour action ended without incident.
