Russia seeks long-term settlement that takes its interests and concerns into account, Senior Kremlin foreign policy adviser Yuri Ushakov said, Report informs via The Guardian.
According to Ushakov, the proposed US ceasefire is nothing more than a temporary respite for Ukrainian forces.
"No one needs steps that just imitate peace actions in Ukraine," he said. "Russia hopes the US will take into account its demands."
Ushakov said he passed on his concerns to the US negotiators, too.
