President: Laos wants to become BRICS member

Laos wants to become a full member of BRICS, the country's President Thongloun Sisoulith said at the Outreach/BRICS+ meeting within the XVI BRICS Summit. in Kazan, Russia, Report informs.
"The Lao People's Democratic Republic is interested in becoming a member of BRICS. We are ready to ensure our cooperation with BRICS on a wide range of issues. We hope for your support and acceptance of Laos as a future BRICS member," Thongloun Sisoulith stated.
