Powerful earthquake hits off Indonesia coasts

The magnitude 5.5 earthquake has been recorded off the Indonesia coasts.
According to Report, the European Mediterranean Seismological Center says the epicenter of the tremors was 224 km south of Bengkulu, Sumatra with the population of around 309,000 people. The source of the earthquake was at the depth of 10 km.
There have been no reports of casualties or destruction, and no tsunami alert has been issued.
