Popular social networks experiencing disruptions in Türkiye

Access to popular online platforms including X, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and WhatsApp continues to be disrupted in Türkiye, Report informs referring to foreign media.
The access problems began at 20:45 (GMT +3) on September 7, with the platforms' bandwidth being limited.
The restrictions occurred shortly after the Republican People's Party (CHP) called for rallies in response to the installation of police barricades around its headquarters in Istanbul.
The Access Providers Association of Türkiye, which is responsible for implementing the blocking decisions, has not yet provided official comments.
