Poland has closed its borders with Belarus for an indefinite period, Interior and Administration Minister Marcin Kerwiński said on the air of radio station TokFM.
Report quotes the minister as saying the decision is linked to military exercises.
"I want to clarify: the closure of this border is not just for the duration of the drills, but in connection with them. The timeframe for reopening is indefinite," Kerwiński said.
He added that Poland would continue to monitor and assess the situation.
