"Poland needs to increase its military equipment reserves," President of Poland Andrzej Duda said Monday, Report informs, citing TASS.
According to him, Poland has supplied hundreds of tanks, combat vehicles, artillery, unmanned aerial vehicles, portable air defence systems, and hundreds of thousands of ammunition and spare parts to Ukraine.
"This has created a serious need for an increase in the country's weapons stockpile," he said.
Duda stressed that Poland had provided at least $ 1.7 billion in military assistance to Ukraine.
