The Russian Armed Forces massively and deliberately attacked the centers of Ukrainian cities and exclusively civilian facilities. The purpose of such attacks is the massacre of the civilian population, Mykhailo Podolyak, Advisor to the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, told Report.
"This is a large-scale live war crime that has all the legal features of a multiple terrorist act. No military installations, as you can see, were harmed or even targeted by this attack. The strikes were aimed exclusively at civilian infrastructure, energy facilities, as well as residential buildings and city centers.
The Russian army has long shown that it is not capable of fighting on the battlefield under equal conditions. All they can do is fight ordinary people who sleep in their apartments or go to work," Podolyak said.
According to him, by carrying out these attacks, Russia wanted to intimidate people, but even now, Moscow failed to achieve its goal.
"Ukrainians are consolidating and showing that such attacks make us angrier, but not weaker. We understand that after today's rocket attacks there will be new ones. Therefore, the priority task is to close the sky over Ukrainian cities. We hope that our partners will correctly assess the situation and increase the supply of weapons, air defense and missile defense in order to prevent new Russian terrorist attacks," he added.
