The petition for the resignation of Estonian Prime Minister Kaja Kallas has received the required number of votes to be considered in parliament, Report informs referring to foreign media.

More than 9,000 Estonian citizens signed the initiative. The country’s parliament is obliged to consider an appeal that has at least 1,000 votes.

In October, representatives of the Estonian opposition once again called on Kallas to leave her position after a scandal with her husband Arvo Hallik, who did business with Russia.
